Dr. Jensen was born and raised in Minnesota. For his undergraduate studies he attended Duke University. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Jensen went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at the U. of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He stayed on for a yearlong appointment as chief medical resident followed by subspecialty training in gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Jensen is enthusiastic about all aspects of gastroenterology with special interests in disorders of the liver and inflammatory bowel disease.
