Jill J. Jakowich is a Denver native and a graduate of Arvada West High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Colorado College. She then received her Master of Science degree in Exercise Science and Cardiac Rehabilitation and worked as an Exercise Physiologist for several years. She pursued her career in medicine in the Physician Assistant program at the University of Utah. She obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2003. Jill worked for a few years in Pulmonary Medicine at National Jewish Medical and Research Center, and joined South Denver Gastroenterology in 2006. Her areas of interest are liver disease, gastrointestinal problems in patients with spinal cord injury, and inflammatory bowel disease.
